The Hover Senior Living Community is a campus located on the historic Hover Family property in Longmont Colorado and offers Independent and Assisted Living residences while specializing in promoting quality of life and respectful, loving care. Dedicated to traditions set forth by the Hover Family, Hover Community is committed to providing a wide range of activities in a comfortable and pleasant home where they can age with dignity and continue to grow. Guiding core principles of a Hover Community include Dignity, Opportunity, and Choice. In 2016, the Hover Community began a process of planning for implementing The Green House Homes Project into the existing campus. The Green House Homes Project is a national leader transforming long term institutional care by creating viable homes that organize their model around the goal of providing for a Real Home to live in, a Meaningful Life for residents, and care provided by an Empowered Staff.

Oxbow Design Collaborative provided Landscape Architecture services for a 5 acre site including 4 residential buildings, a community building, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, a central courtyard, stormwater improvements, and streetscape improvements. Site improvements include private patio spaces for residents as well a Sensory Garden, Native Colorado Garden, Edible Gardens incorporated into individual Home sites, an experiential Loop Walk, Signage and Wayfinding, and a Water Feature. Oxbow engaged in extensive site and programming research in developing specific designs that will support the Green House Homes Project goals.
